Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: Every new product announced


Samsung, on Wednesday, July 9, unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, its newest foldable smartphones. In addition to these yearly launches, the company also announced the Galaxy Z Flip FE, the much-anticipated Fan Edition device that has been underway for quite some time now.

And as is the case every year, the South Korean tech giant also launched the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. From smartwatches to smartwatches, here’s everything Samsung announced at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

Galaxy Z Fold 7

Samsung’s latest book-style foldable phone – the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is getting a bunch of design and hardware upgrades, which the company says is its first foldable phone that offers an “Ultra” experience.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, the Galaxy Z Fold7 brings significant performance upgrades over its predecessor. When folded, you get a 6.5-inch 120Hz AMOLED cover screen with FullHD+ resolution alongside a much larger 8.2-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen on the inside that offers more real estate.

Just like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition, you get a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 200MP primary camera in addition to a 12MP ultrawide shooter and a 10MP telephoto lens. The phone comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage and is backed by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 25 wired charging as well as wireless charging. It comes with One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 also brings some durability improvements to the overall body as well as the hinge. While the cover screen is now protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2,  the back now boasts Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, while the frame is made from what Samsung calls ‘Advanced Armor Aluminum’.

Galaxy Z Flip 7

The Galaxy Flip 7 is also bringing some upgrades to the table. The new phone has a slightly bigger 6.9-inch 120 AMOLED inner screen and a much larger 4.1-inch sAMOLED cover screen that offers a refresh rate up to 120Hz. However, like its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes with the same dual camera setup, which consists of a 50MP primary shooter alongside a 12MP ultrawide lens.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 comes with 12GB of RAM, with the base variant now offering 256GB of storage, with options going up to 512GB. Compared to its predecessor, the storage on the base variant is now double.

Samsung has also packed in a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, which should help the device last a bit longer. Another area where the Galaxy Z Flip 7 improves over its predecessor is durability. Samsung’s latest flip phone is now IP48 dust and water resistant and comes with an Armour Aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Like the Galaxy Z Fold 7, you get One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Samsung also introduced the much-anticipated Galaxy Z Flip FE. The latest Fan Edition device comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and a 3.4-inch sAMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 720×748 pixels. It runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box and sports Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and Armour Aluminium protection.

Like the Galaxy Z Flip 7, you get a 50MP primary rear camera in addition to a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The phone is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, which made its debut last year on the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24 Plus. The phone comes with 8GB RAM and is available in two storage variants – 128GB and 256GB. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Galaxy Watch 8 series

The Galaxy Watch 8 series comprises two devices – the Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic. This year, Samsung has spiced up the design, with the new smartwatches now sporting a squircle-shaped frame housing the circular display. Talking of design, Samsung is also bringing a new extra circular button that is sandwiched between the regular home and back buttons.

The Galaxy Watch 8 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes and comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If you are interested in the Classic variant with the physical rotating bezel, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is only available in a 46mm size. And while it has the same 2GB RAM as the Galaxy Watch 8, you get 64GB of storage.

The South Korean tech giant is also adding a bunch of new features like the ability to check Vascular Load, Antioxidant Index and more. The Galaxy Watch 8 and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic comes with One UI 8 based on WearOS 6 out of the box and also support Gemini.
