Microsoft Outlook down: Company acknowledges widespread disruption, says fix is underway

Microsoft Outlook, the tech giant’s popular email, contacts and calendar service, is currently down for many users around the world. In a post on X, previously Twitter, the company confirmed via its official Microsoft 365 Status handle that it is currently investigating the issue affecting the service and is working on deploying a fix.

According to Downdetector, hundreds of users around the world have reported that Outlook is currently inaccessible. When users try to open Outlook, they see a “Something went wrong” error message, with an option to refresh the page.
