Delhi Rains Highlights: Heavy rain lashes parts of national capital, IMD issues yellow alert

Delhi Rains Live Update: Heavy rain lashed several parts of Delhi as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for the national capital.

Nowcast weather warning issued: Delhi Meteorological Centre issued a nowcast warning for Delhi, stating, “Light rainfall/Drizzle is very likely to occur at Delhi (Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Rohini), Kharkhoda (Haryana) Shamli (U.P.) during next 2 hours.”

Satisfactory air quality: The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology’s (IITM) Air Quality Early Warning System stated in its Saturday bulletin: “The air quality is likely to be in the ‘satisfactory’ category on 04.07.2025. The air quality is likely to remain in the ‘satisfactory’ category from 05.07.2025 to 07.07.2025. The outlook for the subsequent six days suggests the air quality will be in the ‘satisfactory’ to ‘moderate’ category.”
